Connect Kong with HubSpot to sync deals, match contacts and companies, and automatically log meeting summaries to your CRM after each processed call.
Use a HubSpot account with permissions to install and authorize apps. We recommend an admin user so Kong can read pipelines, deals, contacts, and companies and write meeting records.
Sign in to Kong and open Settings → Integrations. Click Connect HubSpot and complete the OAuth flow when HubSpot prompts you to grant access.
You can start the connection from onboarding as well if you have not connected a CRM yet.
After HubSpot connects, choose which deal pipelines Kong should sync. If you skip this step, all pipelines in your HubSpot account are synced.
On the same integrations page, use Automatically log meetings to control whether completed meetings are written to HubSpot as meeting activities with your Kong summary.
Once connected, Kong imports deals from the pipelines you selected and keeps deal context in sync for your team. When meeting logging is enabled, summaries are attached to the best-matching HubSpot contacts, companies, and deals based on attendees and meeting context.
Only one CRM can be connected per Kong workspace at a time. To switch CRMs, disconnect HubSpot from Settings → Integrations before connecting another provider.
Kong requests HubSpot scopes needed to read and sync CRM data and create or update meeting records. If connection fails, confirm the HubSpot user has admin access and that your portal allows third-party app installs.
